The signup asks whether you are starting with EOR or Payroll. That is only the starting point, not a permanent box.
How TRYANGUL works
One approval a month. That’s your entire involvement.
Payroll computes itself from the records you already keep. You approve once. Tryangul moves net pay, statutory remittances, and fees separately, showing you exactly where every dollar landed.
Current step
Approve
You review one gross-to-net computation summary and approve it.

Coverage
African ambition, honest launch status.
The map is intentionally simple: Nigeria is sharp because it is live. Blurred markets are expansion signals so teams can see where Tryangul is headed.
Already have a Nigerian entity?
Then you don’t need an EOR — you’re paying for a legal structure you already own. What you need is payroll software that computes PAYE, pension and NHF correctly. That’s ₦4,000 per person per month.
Questions
The things finance teams ask first.
Under EOR, Tryangul's Nigerian entity is the legal employer of record. We hold the employment contract, carry statutory liability for PAYE and pension remittance, and issue the termination notice if the relationship ends. You direct the work day to day; we carry the employment. Under Direct Payroll, you remain the employer throughout and we're purely the payroll engine.
We never advance payroll, and we never partially pay a run — if the balance is short by any amount, the run is blocked rather than half-executed. You get automated reminders at 7, 5, 3, and 2 days before your run date, and a specialist calls you directly at day 5. A fully missed cycle counts as a strike; two in six months triggers a review conversation, not a silent penalty.
Under EOR, yes — one month of total gross salary, held as a standing reserve. It's a termination security deposit, not a working-capital float: it funds your team's final payout if you end the relationship, since we're their legal employer and that obligation survives your decision. It is never drawn for a routine cycle, and it's returned with a full audit statement when you leave. Direct Payroll requires no deposit at all.
You pay the lower of 20% of gross or $350 per employee per month. At ₦500,000 you pay about $62. At ₦2,000,000 you pay about $248. Above roughly ₦2.82m, the cap holds you at $350 no matter how senior the hire. Contractors are 10% capped at $150. A $2.50 platform fee applies per person in every case.
No. We use the live rate from our payment provider at the moment of the transaction, disclose it before you commit, and write that same rate onto the payslip and invoice as a stored field. The rate you were shown and the rate used in the computation are the same value, persisted once. This is a clause in every client agreement, not a policy we could quietly change.
Yes — that's the intended setup. Tryangul isn't an HRIS and isn't trying to replace one. We sync employee records in from what you already run, compute payroll and compliance against them, and push results back out through a full REST API with webhooks. Your HR system stays the source of truth for people data.
Your next employee in Africa should not take six months.
Start with EOR or Payroll. Add the other module when your workforce needs it.
